Before starting YourNextVA, I had already been working with virtual assistants and remote professionals across my own businesses for several years. What began as a practical way to build stronger support around daily operations gradually became something people around me started asking about too. Often business owners in my own network who saw how much value the right support could bring.
In many cases, it was not about replacing full-time staff, but about finally having someone reliable for the important tasks that kept being pushed aside. Customer communication, reporting, planning, marketing support or operational work often stayed unfinished simply because there was no flexible person in place to take ownership of it.
Part of what shaped this approach came from my own international background. During my studies, I spent time in the Philippines and studied at one of the country’s top three universities, where I built a strong network of highly educated students and professionals. That network later became the starting point for finding people with the right level of communication, responsibility, and academic background.
